Proverbs 22:6 tell us, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he willnotdepart from it." Our local church puts as much effort as any other ministry into our vacation bible school each summer. It has been said that a very high percentage (approximately 80%) of people will give their life to the Lord before they reach the age of 16. The percentage of people saved after their childhood is very low, making the importance of reaching children for Jesus Christ very high.
Our vacation bible school has been very well attended over the last 5 years, both by members of our church, and others from around the community. Each year the VBS has a different theme in which to teach our children more about Jesus and the bible, and the memories experienced by both the kids and the adults last for many, many years. If you're interested in this year's VBS, please see our "Contact Us" page and fill in your contact information, and click send. Someone will contact you with more information.

Child, Youth, and Worker Protection Policy
The Church of God of Prophecy is firmly committed to providing a safe, loving environment for the children and youth attending our churches, youth camps, and all ministry venues. The children and youth among us must have an environment free of sexual or physical abuse, and any violation of their well-being by a paid minister or volunteer must not be tolerated. The Administrative Committee introduced a Child, Youth, and Worker Protection policy for the International Offices and for all levels of leadership in every church and ministry. The General Overseer's office, International Youth Ministries and Children's Ministries departments have assisted in the development and distribution of this policy which is available to all state/national/regional offices. This is not intended to be an optional policy for any level of leadership in the Church of God of Prophecy.
