“The Voice” is a quarterly publication of the Ward Avenue Church of God of Prophecy. Each issue contains a pastoral message and articles by other writers. The original staff included Pastor/Editor Phillip Smith, Robey and Avalean Ayers, Daryl and Amy Shaffer, Ann Lambert, Nola O’Quinn, Mike Misenheimer, Naomi Phillips, Jim and Betty Whitten, and Publisher JoAnn Cox (now Shean). Since that time, the staff has sadly bade farewell to Naomi Phillips, Ann Lambert, Avalean Ayers and most recently Amy Shaffer. Pastor Benjamin Duncan came on board in late 2000 upon the transfer of Pastor Smith.
Approximately 390 copies mailed quarterly to a number of states. Copies are always included in the following Sunday’s bulletins. This publication, which is intended to inform, encourage, and edify, is well received throughout the distribution zone. Favorable comments are often forwarded to the local church. It is our desire to be a blessing to all our readers.
